To make comparisons with adjectives in Spanish, use the following formula

Más + Adjective + que More....than Las casa es más cara que un auto.
The house is more expensive than a car.

Menos + adjective + que less...than El auto es menos caro que la casa.
The car is less expensive than the house

tan + adjective + como as... as El auto es tan caro como la casa.
The car is as expensive as the house.

Costar (ue) Cuesta/ Cuestan
When asking the price of a singular noun use cuesta
When asking the price of more than one thing, use cuestan
